Important things to go over...
During Microblading, the pigment is implanted in the basal membrane which divides the epidermis from the dermis layer of the skin. This technique is therefore more superficial than traditional tattooing. Amazing 3d eyebrow sculpting suits people who ideally have the wrong brow shape, over plucked, loss of hair/patchy areas and won’t grow back or through medical reasons such as Alopecia or chemotherapy. Microblading eyebrows will gently enhance your natural features, giving you more confidence in their overall appearance.

MICROBLADING - 3D EYEBROW SCULPTING
3D Eyebrow Sculpting is a manual method of depositing a small amount of pigments in the outer layer of skin without reaching the dermis. The needle used in the manual microblading is 3x thinner than those used in permanent makeup procedures which creates very fine, crisp hair strokes that soften after healing. This procedure takes 1.5-2 hours for the consult and first application. During this time, we will go over color, shape, measurements, and healing. Numbing cream is used before and during the procedure to maintain comfort. The results are more natural looking, hair like strokes that complement the existing hair. This method is ideal for those who are looking to change up their eyebrow shape, make their brows fuller or for those who are suffering from hair loss conditions. Aftercare kit and instructions included. Includes your 4-6 week touch up application. This is our opportunity to build upon the healed strokes from the first application in order to build density, adjust, and add color. (Only offered within 8 weeks of first application.)

How Long Does Microblading Last? Not forever, but way longer than your waterproof eyebrow gel, that's for sure! Microblading can last up to two years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and the products that you use. However, touch-ups are commonly needed about once a year, especially for those with oily skin, as the ink tends to fade and blur faster. Typically, people are advised to touch-up the color and shape every six months, but Zara says some clients come in at three to eight months post-treatment. “Zara always recommend staying ahead of the fading curve, meaning coming in right before brows start to fade,” she says. Since everybody reacts differently to microblading, the first session is more of a test to give the artist insight about how your brows respond and what tweaks need to be made next time. Can anyone try microblading? People with healthy skin are good candidates for microblading, says Zara, and that goes a long way in tipping the scales in your favor for a safe treatment and satisfying results. “Since the procedure requires traumatizing the skin, if the skin is unhealthy, the outcome will be unpredictable and most likely not ideal,” adds Zara. That means people with bleeding disorders, active inflammatory conditions near the eyebrows like eczema or shingles, allergies to ink, taking prescription acne medications like Accutane, using products with anti-aging ingredients like retinol, and taking blood thinners or supplements may not be good candidates for microblading.
That’s a long list—and still, there are more medical conditions (like disorders and diabetes) and lifestyle factors (recent waxing or chemical peels) that can compromise skin healing. Always talk to your doctor before seeing a microblading artist; when you go in for treatment, be honest about your current medical history.
